Momentum is a design consultancy based in Zurich, Switzerland. We engage in industrial design and related services, such as product strategy definition, interface design, product graphics, packaging, 3D modelling and model making. We are your partner in the innovation process and we support you in the application of comprehensive Design Thinking methods.

Momentum was established in 2001 by Sven Adolph, who remains the company's principal. Sven holds a diploma from HFG Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Bloomfield Hills MI, USA. He is a former a Fulbright scholar whose student work has won several international design competitions in Japan, Korea and the United States.
Sven has broad experience in design, having honed his skills at international design consultancies in Boston, San Francisco, Milan and Zurich, as well as with Philips Design. As a professional he has produced or co-produced a wide range of award winning work for top-tier clients.
Sven serves as a teacher in Industrial Design at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and in Design Management at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU).
Chris studied Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich and wrote his doctoral thesis on lightweight structures. He studied Industrial Design at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Since 2006 he is part of the Momentum Design team.
